I’ve been staring at charts 5-7 days a week for the last 9+ years, and I want to walk you through a quick exercise that I love doing.
It’s simple, it’s actually kind of fun, and it is what I recommend to ANY who wants to trade price action.
In fact, if you were to do this 100 times a day for just 30 days, you’d start recognizing the same structural patterns showing up again and again.
That is a personal GUARANTEE.
Practice makes perfect.
Before I explain what I created that automatically maps out structure on the charts, I want to put you in a real trading decision.
So here is what I want you to do.
If you can, please look at the chart below and draw the best possible trendline in your eyes.
It can be anywhere at all.
Please draw your trendline:

Now since you have your trendline on the chart, if this were live right now, what are you doing?
Are you:
- Buying the dip (BUY)
- Shorting the rejection (SELL)
- Or waiting for clarity (DO NOTHING)
Now Let Me Show You Something...
I have the exact same setup on the chart below....
The only difference is, it's automatically done for me with the TerraLine Indicator.
So here is what my chart looks like:
So what is my answer?
- Waiting for clarity
Is that was you chose?
If not, it is okay because I am going to explain why I am waiting here...
Many times in my trading career I would face a chart just like you see above.
Instead of blindly taking a BUY or SELL I now ONLY take what the charts give me.
And with hard earned money on the line, I wanted the best possible chance at picking the right direction.
So what are all the lines on the chart? Each of the represent a piece of the puzzle....
TAKE A LOOK:
At this point, nothing is broken.
Price is still respecting the upper trendline structure.
Price is still holding the lower trendline structure.
That tells me one thing very clearly.
This is not a buy.
This is not a sell.
This is a HOLD!
And that decision alone is a win.
What I’m Watching Now....
If price breaks and holds above this upper Structure, now I’m interested in longs.
If price loses the lower Structure, shorts start making sense.
And there is always a potential bounce at trendlines, so that is also on the table here at either the upper or lower trendline.
Until ANY of those things happens, I do nothing.
Okay, lets move ahead and see how it played out:
First thing I noticed was the bounce a the lower trendline so right HERE I am BUYING for a Bounce BUY trade. (SEE CHART BELOW)
To give a clean Stop and Take profit, i'll simply use the structure that the indicator prints on the chart.
As the trade evolves in real time, so will the trade and structure.
When price bounces AGAIN off the bottom trendline notice TerraLine issued another BUY opportunity with an updated Support structure below it..
Once Terraline mapped the Terra Structure, everything became so much easier.
Price was no longer just moving inside a channel. It was working its way through a defined structural area with a clear top and a clear base.
On the way up, price respected the lower Terra Structure line multiple times.
That told me something important.
Buyers were active.
So instead of wondering whether price would keep going, the plan was already set.
If price could break through that upper Terra Structure and hold, continuation made sense.
That’s exactly what happened.
And that is how you trade structure!
The automated lines on the charts make it so you don't have to think about this.
"Terra" is the latin word for ground.
And on a chart, ground is simply where price has already spent time and reacted before.
Price builds a solid ground first. Then it moves.
When price is above that structure, certain trades make sense.
When price is below it, different trades make sense.
And when price is sitting right on it, patience usually makes sense.
That’s all Terra Structure is.
Identifying the ground price is working off of.
Terraline Indicator just puts that ground on the chart for you.
Once you start looking at charts this way, a lot of decisions get easier.

Because what you just saw on Gold is not a one time “nice chart.”

I’ll show you the chart.
I’ll show you the Terraline signal.
One of my favorite examples happened all the way back in 2023 when Apple broke of of a downward sloping trendline.
This was forming from July to November and right here at the BUY alert it was November 10th.
When you see a breakout like this, I like to implement the TerraLine Options I use which is typically a standard CALL or PUT criteria.
Since this hit all the check boxes a standard $1,000 CALL here could have been a great position.
BOOM!! a nice 105% gain in 23 trading days...

It needs the market to do one thing: respect the structure, then confirm the shift.

Notice the two BOUNCES.
These were Textbook BUY opportunities.
At the time this is when I decided to get into a CALL option.
Just a cheap $1.55 Option so around $155 bucks...

Little did I know, a HUGE partnership annoucement happened with AMD and OpenAI and the stock went parabolic.
Whch lead to the stock jumping 38% in one day!!
And with that big of move, you can imagine what the Options would have been...
A cool 2,645% Options GAIN
While I could have held on as it did continue move up over the next several days, I ended up closing it out for the quickest $4,100 gain ever!
And this might even be odd to you, but to me, I love celebrating wins.
